Bro Allan Lauder, on the evening of his Installation, into the chair of Lodge St John No 192, for the period 2011 - 2103. Allan has already guided the lodge through a very successful 1st Year of his tenureship, and is confident that his 2nd year will be equally successfull. Unfortunately, during the closed season of 2011-2012, the Lodges Bowling and Golfing teams were unsuccessful in bringing any major trophies or cups back to the Lodgerooms, but Allan [ as the Bowls Convenyor] is hopeful of a return to the winning form of earlier seasons. The Bowling Team this Year consists of the Usual suspects, Allan, Ronnie McPhee, Rab Finnie, Ally MaCrae, John G McMillan and Allan's son, young George, and they promise to be a formidable combination, ready to challenge any competition. The Lodge Golfers, Peter Shaw and Dougie Harkness, have two major competitions this summer in the Alex Rheay memorial Competion at Comrie Golf Club, and the Provincial Grand Lodge of Perthshire East at Auchterarder. The Brethren wish Peter and Dougie every success in these tournaments.
